About the Lecturer
Carlos A. Pellegrini, MD, FACS, is an internationally recognized surgeon, educator, and healthcare leader. A pioneer in minimally invasive gastrointestinal surgery, he has made significant contributions to surgical education, simulation, professionalism, and leadership development. He served as Chair of Surgery and later Chief Medical Officer at the University of Washington and is a Past President of both the American College of Surgeons and the American Surgical Association. Today, he continues to mentor and coach healthcare leaders worldwide, drawing on more than four decades of clinical, academic, and executive experience.
